JOE CHAMBERLAIN AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

PARSIPPANY, NJ, May 7, 2018 – Restaurant Programs of America, a national retail insurance agency focused on hospitality, restaurants and other specialized market segments, has appointed Joe Chamberlain as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Chamberlain has more than 25 years of experience in insurance and operations. During the past four years, as Senior Vice President, Preferred Concepts, LLC, he implemented a Six Sigma initiative to help the firm drive efficiency and improve customer service.

Earlier, he was with property/casualty insurer Tower Group Companies initially as Vice President, Line Operations and subsequently was promoted to Managing Vice President, Operations Shared Services.

He began his insurance career serving in a series of underwriting positions with Mutual Benefit Life and Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company of New Jersey. Later, he joined Agency Holding Company in Baltimore as Vice President, Operations. In 2001, he joined Automatic Data Processing as senior director of Insurance Operations; five years later, he was promoted to Area Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region prior to joining Tower Group.

Mr. Chamberlain earned a B.A. degree in political science from The College of New Jersey and a M.B.A. from Monmouth University. He holds the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt designation.
