In 1952 the management of Restaurant Programs of America (RPA) built a mid-size regional insurance brokerage firm in New Jersey, offering a variety of property/casualty insurance products and services to both commercial and personal clients.
Even at that time, when insurance products were extremely standardized, the firm developed a specialty: providing restaurants with property, liability, and workers’ compensation insurance. By the late 1980s, the firm became a dominant player in the Northeast for this niche market, having developed special programs geared specifically to meet the needs of restaurateurs.
Today, Restaurant Programs of America continues its tradition of insuring restaurants, lending its expertise, knowledgeable staff, and longstanding relationships to restaurants throughout the United States. Our home office is in Parsippany, NJ, with branch offices in suburban Philadelphia, Florida, Colorado, Connecticut, California, Missouri, and North Carolina.
